Winemaking kicked off in the Mudgee region in the 1850s and it's now the third largest grape-producing region in NSW, with 110 grape growers and about 30 cellar doors. The region is known for its concentrated red wine styles and its chardonnay.

Beautifully appointed self-contained accommodation in the heart of Mudgee. Very clean, very safe and within walking distance of all the good restaurants.
We just returned today from a wonderful trip to Mudgee. We travelled in a group of 9 people and stayed in the Jacinta and Victoria Houses. It was simply fabulous!
We arrived to find everything in perfect order. The furnishing was of best quality and very tasteful, in a modern, clean style - obviously done by an interior designer.
The first thing one of our friends said, when she saw the house was : Wow, I could live here! There were flat screen TVs in the lounge and each bedroom and the air condition worked well to heat the house on a very cold day.
The kitchen was well equipped with all the utensils you could ask for (although we did not cook - why would you in a place with so many good restaurants!). There was even a laundry with extra toilet.
You could feel that everything was meant to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. An added plus is the proximity to the town center (we walked everywhere), and also the fact, that every house has a garage.

Excellent self services accommodation in Mudgee. Would easily accommodate a family or friends on a short or long stay. The small garden at the rear of the property was lovely to sit out in and enjoy the sunshine. Property is close to downtown and we were able to walk to a restaurant following a day of wine tasting. A real find, we will definitely stay here again when we next visit Mudgee.
My wife, daughter and myself (all adults) stayed at "Jacinta". Everything in the apartment appeared new, all sparkling clean and all the appliances were "top of the range".
A lovely lady greeted us and gave us a tour of the complex. Oh and the same goes for Mudgee. It's the most beautiful, best kept country town I have ever seen (and don't get me started on the wineries!). Steve JAN 2017
